The results are in! And it looks like the prompts 'The Only Place We're Going is to the Pharmacy' and 'Sick in and Inconvenient Place' will appear on the official Sicktember 2023 prompt list! That gives you two prompts you can go ahead and start thinking about!

As for the unused prompts, those will be added to our 'Prompts for Future Use' document. So, if the one you were rooting for didn't win, it could still be used as a prompt in a furture Sicktember event. That being said, you are, of course, welcome to use whatever inspiration you'd like to use!

the easiest way to view my VR art is to get a Quest headset (Quest 2 is cheapest, but Quest 3 is coming out in the fall with a $500 price tag and is, imo, better than the Quest Pro) and to download Figmin XR on it.

with Figmin I can just send you direct URLs to my stuff and you can import it directly to your headset via figmin.com :)))

for Tilt Brush art specifically it's a little harder, because I have to actually send you the .tilt files and then you've gotta manually drop them in specific folders... and the process is different depending on which headset you end up getting.

"Raising humanitarian aid" is a grift Western governments are pushing right now to deflect from the fact that they're sending billions to Israel to keep carpet bombing Gazans. As long as the blockades are still in place there will never be enough aid for two million people. (UPDATE: PLEASE DONATE to the Gazan's GoFundMe fundraisers to help them buy food and get out of Rafah into Egypt. E-SIMs, food and medical supplies are also essential. Please donate to the orgs linked in the How You Can Help. Go on the strikes. DO NOT STOP PROTESTING.)

The twitter accounts I reposted as it was given to me and I just now realized it had too many Israeli voices and almost none of the Palestinians I'm following, so it's being edited. (Update: done!) also removed sources like Jewish Voices of Peace and Breaking the Silence that do good work but have come under fair criticism from Palestinians.

Edit 14 6th May '24: I've stopped updating this masterlist so some things, like journalists still left in Gaza and how to support the student protests are missing. I've had to take a step back and am no longer able to track these things down on my own, and I've hit the '100 links per post' limit, but if you can leave suggestions for updates along with links in either the replies or my asks I will try and add them.

Edit 15 10th August: added to Palestinian allies list and reworked the Help for Palestine section. There's been a racist harrassment campaign against the Palestinian Tumblrs that vetted the Gaza fundraisers based off one mistake made by a Gazan who doesn't understand English. If you're an ally, shut that shit down. Even if you donate to a scam GFM, you're only out some coffee money; if everyone stops donating to all the GFMs in fear of scams, those families die.

Opening Art Trades

What it reads, as I figure it's a good way to gain an audience and it's generally good drawing practice. But, there are rules:

Nothing Inappropriate: I am not drawing porn, anything that promotes hatred toward an individual/group... Generally, if it's not what you'd look at during work, nor what you'd want done to you nor others like yourself, then you probably shouldn't request it.

I accept them when I want to, and I finish them when I can. Don't start barking at me: "When are you gonna be done?" or "Are you gonna trade with me or not??" I still have personal projects I wanna work on and I don't wanna get "burn out" that results in rushed trading work.

I don't have a "skill/quality" requirement nor do I require a specific medium. Just create Claire as best you can and in whatever media, I'm just grateful to have people know of my mascot's existence and thus mine-- and that if they liked the character enough, they'll likely come see the creator and her works.

I always use a digital, colored medium of artwork. If you want your item to be painted or pencil-sketched, sorry, you'll probably have to find someone else. I also draw in my style, so keep that in mind.

"You get what you get, and you don't throw a fit." If you're rude about the results, then it gets completely wiped from the face of the earth. I don't care if you remove your piece of Claire, I decided to go ahead with what you wanted to see made and you will not spit in the face of my generosity-- especially when I'm willing to accept a literal stick figure of Claire. In other words: I'm not playing the "Effort/Quality Police" and I am putting effort into it, so I don't wanna hear any moaning about something not being "good enough" on my end. You want the highest of quality? Go commission someone with better skills or try to convince them to trade.
